Why We Gather
Home is more than shelter.
It is the foundation of family wealth, community stability, and the American promise itself. Yet across the country, that foundation is eroding — more than $32 billion in property value sits tangled in heirs' property, and hundreds of thousands of family-owned homes and lands remain at risk of being lost.
The Pursuit of Home is a national initiative to change that story: bringing together the funders, policymakers, legal minds, and community leaders building the systems that keep home and land in the hands of the families who built them.
What began as a convening has become a coalition. This August, the table is set again.
